To Me, Healthcare Is Personal
When my son was diagnosed as a type 1 diabetic, I committed to making sure he received the best-possible care. But as I began to navigate the realities of the U.S. healthcare system, I learned firsthand about its shortcomings and inefficiencies. This experience led me down a path to dissecting and understanding the entire supply chain. I learned about the waste. I learned how each entity was compensated. And I learned about the artificial hurdles that stand in the way of employers, who want to do right by their people. The system, is stacked against all of us. The facts I uncovered were shocking and seemed surreal. I decided in that moment, that employers needed specialized experts sitting on their side of the negotiating table, to help them minimize the waste and protect their employees.
